I wanted to find a photo of our old "welcome gates" with the oak tree logo, but no luck so far.

In response to your comment, there are a few other Dal's I've noticed. Dal Curtis used to write "Rex Morgan MD" in the funny papers. There's a Dal Lee who's an occult writer and another Dal Lee who's a children's writer.
Mine's not short for anything, and I'm not named after anyone, but for some people it's short for Dallas.
